Besides the beach in the summer you'll enjoy hiking in the woods, visiting numerous water falls, like Bushkill Falls, Raymondskill Falls, Dingmans Falls, and a great cascade of falls in Child's Park.
It is great for both vacationing here and living full time. If you'll be commuting to work to NY or NJ you will be glad also, since the house is very close to NJ border, and you will have an option of either to take the first exit off Rt. 80 in PA or go on Rt. 15 through NJ.
In the winter come to ski in Shawnee, which is 15 minutes away. Or go a bit further to Camelback, Jack Frost, or Alpine Mountain. Fernwood Resort offers snow tubing and horseback riding.
